Bass, 'N Synch Singer, to Fly in Space
Lance Bass, a member of the band 'N Sync, hopes to become the
next tourist to hitch a ride on a manned Russian rocket to the international
space station. He has been undergoing tests at the Russian Institute
for Biomedical Problems to evaluate his fitness for the journey,
and has been declared 'fit for space'.
The trip should take place in october. Paperwork had already been
sent to the Russian space agency and money had been put in escrow
to fund the venture.
Its should be between $14 million to $20 million. That's in line
with what the two previous space tourists, American Dennis Tito
and South African Mark Shuttleworth, paid for the privilege.
